A: Mine came with 2
A: 2 but other master lock keys easily fit it. So it's not really secured...
A: 2 and I find them hard to use.
A: I bet you'll find your answer if you read the description
A: 2 keys
A: I look on the back of the package to match the keyed numbers match locks to get similar keys.
A: They have a key code on the package
A: There is a key number code on the back of the package, so I would think you could contact the company to get more.
A: Please visit your local Home Depot Special Order desk and they will assist you in placing a special order for keyed alike items.
A: I have been looking everywhere to see if I can get more locks for the same key, i have yet to find an answer. Let me know if you find anything.
A: you may be able to get one cut, but they are readily available through Master if you have the original key number: http://www.masterlocks.com/category/166/cut-keys/?keyword=master%20lock%20%2Bkey&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI_6jUq6aw2gIVQzyBCh1F-wQIEAAYASAAEgJ5KPD_BwE
A: No you can't
A: It comes with two keys and a locksmith can make additional keys.
A: Yeah you can, very easy to get from a local locksmith.
A: Thank you for your recent inquiry with The Home Depot, Pro. You would need to have keys cut or contact the vendor directly for extra keys. We appreciate your business and look forward to serving you in the future. Thank you for shopping Home Depot.
A: The only way that I know of is to cut it off with a grinder or cut-off wheel.
A: cut shackle with portable grinder.
A: If you have the key number, located both stamped on the key and on the packaging, you can contact a locksmith to create a duplicate. Since the lock is affixed to property, we can only advise you to contact a liscensed professional to assist with removal.
A: If you have the key number from the original key laying around somewhere, you can contact masterlock and they will be able to send you a new key.
A: Contact a locksmith. The effort to grind it open would be significant. Sawing or bolt cutters I think would be futile.
A: I have used this lock on a POD storage container as well as a storage unit. I am sure that it will fit a Uhaul truck.
A: It will depend on the diameter of the hole in the truck's hasp.
A: I went to Uhaul and tried it. One truck 10' worked fine. A 17' it took about 30 sec to a minute of jiggling around but worked fine. Just take your time, don't rush I can see WY people are breaking off keys.... Rushing
A: This fit a budget moving truck for me. I know that doesn't directly answer your question, but hope it helps.
A: I would say no. I would recommend a lock with a longer shank for a truck.
A: It will be hard to pick and difficult to cut.
A: Absolutely
A: Yes no one can pick that lock actually have to get it sawed-off
A: It would be a little hard to pick. Rotating the key rotates the locking bolt, so force is needed. Using the bobby pin and paper-clip approach to picking, I expect it would work given time. I have picked a couple of locks in the past, for fun or legitimate purposes, but I have not tried to do this one.
A: It has four pins, none are security pins (spool, serrated). It requires very little effort to pick or rake.
A: The 4-pin cylinder provides increased pick resistance.
