A:  Your lock is a retail lock that is prepackaged and sold in bulk to a wide range of distributors. With retail product, unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that each lock will have their own specific key numbers. An option for you would be to purchase a commercial lock that we can assign a specific key number or key range for.

A:  These locks are shipped from Master Lock to Distributors in a case of 6 units, keyed the same. There is a chance that when 2 are purchased at the same time they will use the same key. The next case will be keyed differently, and we cycle through hundreds of different key codes.

A:  All locks have a key code on the package, the code allows you to buy locks with the same key. If you want different keys return the second set you purchased and choose one with a different key code. Mike

A:  Master Lock currently manufactures our locks to include one key and one spare-key in each package, regardless of the number of padlocks. If additional keys are needed, they can be duplicated at your local home center or hardware store.

A:  No, it is made to exclusive masterlock specifications in China. It seems to be more hollow in the center part than a lock should be
