Answer This Question

A:  Thank you for your question, Nicholas. For the 32 in. x 80 in. No Panel Smooth Flush Hardboard Solid Core Primed Composite Interior Door Slab, you can trim 1/8” off each side and ¼” off the bottom without affecting your warranty. No trimming is allowed off of the top rail. Trimming even further than this will void warranty and possibly compromise the integrity of the door. Please see an associate at your local Home Depot for custom size options. If you have any additional questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us directly via email at helpline@masonite.com. Sincerely, Masonite

Q:one option says it is both unfinished and also primed and ready to paint. Which is it?

    Answer This Question

A:  Hello Natan this is a unfinished and primed unit. It is both options as the door does not have a finished paint option applied to it. This unit would still need to be painted on all 6 sides.

A:  I think the top and bottom stiles are 3/4 in solid wood. After that it is particle board and not recommended to cut into it.. You should be okay.

A:  I don't see why not. It is a heavy, solid core door. The outer edge is solid wood, the core is particle board, The front and back are masonite panels.
