A:  Hello hd404louise, All interior doors are intended to be opened into the room you are walking into so the handing will be according to an "inswing" door, however, it is your choice, during installation, to face the unit whichever way in the opening to swing in or out of the room but please note that the handing will stay the same even if you choose to swing the door outside of the room.

A:  That is a great question. You can cut off as much as needed it will change the overall balanced look of the panels. If you cut off more than an inch you will be cutting off the bottom spacer between the panels and exposing the cardboard interior structure you can then remove a little of this cardboard and glow in a new support board to give the strength back to the bottom of the door.

A:  Hello Kate, The sides can be trimmed 1/8" and the bottom can be trimmed 1/4" but there is no trim allowance on the top. Anything beyond this will void warranty and may compromise the integrity of the door.
