Q:I believe this listing is inaccurate, can you please fix it? The cutting width for the tool only lists 2.5" and 4.75" in multiple places, but the images only show the 4.75" x 4.75" model. When I select to buy the 4.75" width model, I am forced to buy kit.

A: It can't be placed on a flat surface for use as a stand-up band saw but I have put this through over 100 cuts on 3-4" black pipe and I have yet to replace the blade it came with, nor have I had it slip it's guide wheel even once.

A: Can not attach to a worktop. Needs to be reworked from top to bottom. Best for that is a round 42-13 bit that i used

A: I would imagine so. I use the same style battery but mine are 3.0 and 4.0 batteries. Depending on how thick of steel your cutting and how many cuts you need to make, you may want a longer lasting battery anyway.

It is compatible with Makita 18V Lithium-Ion batteries with a Star symbol (battery sold separately). Please see the 18V LXT® batteries BL1830B, BL1850B and BL1860B available on www.homedepot.com.
