    A:  Onyx tiles should ONLY be cut on a ceramic cutting wet saw. As far as the toilet issue, in my opinion, the toilet should be removed the tiles laid and a hole cut by drill with ceramic drill cutter bit for the drain hole.

    A:  Thank you for your question. In general, Green 12 in. x 12 in. Polished Onyx Floor and Wall Tile can be cut using a wet saw to get desired sizes based on the project.

      A:  MSI is the company doing the importing and supplying to HD. They have many locations that are wholesale only but the public may view items.

        A:  I believe the description says Pakistan. I know that it is quarried there.

          A:  I don't know why they require you order a minimum of 10. Each box has 5. They should change this requirement. I only need 13, so why should I have to buy 20 - this tiles is very expensive and this much waste is ridiculous

                A:  No it only comes in boxes of 10 unfortunately. I looked everywhere else and Home Depot has the smallest quantity and best shipping rates I could find.

                  A:  Hi there greenhorn, This can be used in the shower, but bare in mind that onyx, like many other natural stone tiles, require much more care and maintenance than your average ceramic. They need to be re-sealed and cleaned routinely to keep their appearance and durability. MSI does not have a quoted absorption rate for this tile, but you will need to seal this tile anyways prior to grouting. Use an impregnating sealer like the one that I have linked below and only use thin-set mortar for this job, do not use pre-mixed thinset (mastic). - Jay

                      A:  Thank you for your question. The Green Onyx 4 in. x 4 in. Tumbled Onyx Floor & Wall Tile is a 4 In. x 4 In. indivisual tile and it is not a mosaic it comes in a case of 9 indivisual pieces. Please contact the Home Depot Customer service for further assistance.

                        A:  Yes, these tiles come as individual 4" tiles. They are NOT attached to a 12" sheet backing.
