A:  The edges are not finished. You will need some sort of trim pieces if you want the finished edging look. For my fireplace hearth, I used copper strips. Quarter-round tile trim is most commonly used.

A:  I would not suggest using this as a counter top. It is not thick enough or strong enough for that application This did work well for a backsplash.

A:  You can use a marble polish... but marble polish is a misnomer... it's actually just a cleaner. To get the marble to shine you must use a abrasive powder made for marble with a buffer.
