A:  The wall brackets come with the towel rack.

A:  Jackie, I'm not sure how your question came to me, I'm just another customer who bought the same towel bar. I really like it, however. That's something I think in store employees could answer for you.

A:  I don't know mine came with brackets and no need to replace them.

A:  There is a little bracket that is screwed into the wall. The towel rod ends slip over the bracket and a small screw on the bottom holds the ends in place.

Towel Bar in Spot Resist Brushed Nickel has been tested for installation in a humid environment but not for installation inside the shower. A:  The diameter of the round towel rack leg is 2 1/32 of an inch.

A:  The depth from the wall is 3 inches.

A:  Allow 3-1/8" from the wall to the front edge of the towel bar.

A:  It sticks out 3 inches total from the wall

A:  if you can drill through the tile and put anchors in the wall behind the tile (if you don't hit a stud), then i suppose it's possible - but might be tough drilling through the tile without cracking it... i suppose you could also glue it on with an epoxy if you don't mind holding it still while it's drying...

A:  Yes but drilling holes in tile can be very difficult.

A:  Yes as long as you take precautions with your tile. The tile will need to be drilled with a good bit. Toggle bolts will need to be used if there are no studs where you are attaching the screws.

A:  Houtx, Yes the fixture can be mounted on tile in a tub environment. Would I recommend it? No! The reason being that the fixture is not intended for mounting in a very moist-wet environment and, exposure to chlorinated water will cause corrosion and oxidation of the surface of the fixture over time with the result that it will pit where water remains on the fixture. In addition, trying to mount the fixture on tile will require the use of ceramic drills to establish fixture anchors in the tiled wall to support the fixutre. It would be much better to install the fixture just outside of the tub area where a towel can be placed onto the fixture for drying one off when exiting the tub or shower. So, while it can physically be done, mounting the fixture on tile within the tub area is not recommended. Hope that is of assistance in your planning process.

A:  Yes it can! The mounting hardware will depend on what is underneath the tile. A hole for the fasteners will need to be drilled with a concrete drill. Ideally, the bar will be mounted to wall studs, in which case screws only may be used (they may need to be longer than those that come with the towel bar in order to bite an inch or 1 1/2” into the stud). If there is no stud a wall anchor must be used. The anchors that come with the bar might be adequate if the hole you drill is clean and they fit tight: if not then some type of “molly” anchor must be used.

A:  Mine were not installed on a tile wall. I am not sure if that is possible with the mounts.

Towel Bar in Chrome can be mounted on a tile wall with appropriate mounting hardware which would have to be purchased separately. A:  The towel rack comes with a paper template. Simply put some double sided tape or fold it, place on the wall you want to install it on. Use a level to make sure line on template is level, then drill holes as depicted on the template. Directions are fairly simple
