The rough-in valve uses washerless cartridges and the valve model number that can be used with this trim is 4792, 4793 or 4796. A:  The drain knob is for looks only, its not like for a sink. You need the push down drain valve.

The lift rod on the MOEN Brantford 8 in. Widespread 2-Handle High-Arc Bathroom Faucet Trim Kit in Oil Rubbed Bronze does control the drain plug. A:  The Roman tub Spout extends out 1 1/2" more and goes up about 1" more at it's peak. Other than that they are the exact same. Same packaging,, handles, mounting, etc. Save moeny and go with the deck mount. It will work in almost all scenarios.

The T4943BN has an approximately 6 inch spout whereas the T993BN spout is approximately 8 inches. We have attached the diagrams for both models in order to assist you with your selection. Models that start with the letter "T" only includes the trim and do not include the valves. Therefore, to complete the installation of either faucet, a Moen 4992 or 4993 valve will need to be purchased. All Moen faucets come with Moen's Limited Lifetime Warranty. A:  The faucets spigot are different sizes. Depending on where you mount the faucet on your tub, you may want a longer or shorter spigot. You can enter the part numbers into Moen's website and get the drawings for each.
