A:  The plumber that I used weld the pieces together without any problem it was quick and easy..If it is done with the pieces connected and laying down then the heat will not be a factor because it can be done with a small welding torch the hand held kind...

CC Connection has an adjustable valve shank which may need to be raised. Confirm the correct alignment of the internal body when seating the spout onto the valve shank before securing the screw. A:  I did not install it; my contractor’s assistant did. I do remember that he ran to Home Depot during the job to pick up a part. It is fully functional and I have not have any problems.

You may use long needle nose pliers to remove the nuts or a Moen cartridge removal tool, 14272. A:  The cartridges can be removed using a special tool provided by Moen. Note that the cartridges are held in place by a plastic washer-type screw that is flimsy and strips easily. I would not recommend purchasing this product.

This kit has a 1-1/2” connection size and the connection type is male IPS, threaded shoe. We do not have a full tub drain that comes in the wrought iron finish.
