Q:Hello. I have a question about the sensor zone. Your video said that the ready sensor supplies water only until you exit the sensor zone. If I don't need water when I use a sink, still water is supplied because of the sensor zone?

A:  If your hand is in front of the sensor, water will dispense.  It is very easy to deactivate this sensor if you find it bothersome.

A:  Once you exit the sensor zone on the side/front of the faucet, the water automatically shuts off. But if you turn the faucet on from the top sensor zone, water will flow continuously until you wave your hand over it again, but it'll also shut itself off after several minutes of continuous use.

A:  Hello Greg and thank you for your interest in Moen products. The flow of water on the Moen Arbor Single-Handle Pull-Down Sprayer Touchless Kitchen Faucet with MotionSense in Spot Resist Stainless is controlled by two different pathways in the control box. We recommend performing a reset on the control box by unplugging the data cable followed by the power cable, waiting one minute, then plugging the cables back in the same order. You should experience a short burst of water followed by a pause then a long burst of water. This should restore the flow with sensor mode. If you are still experiencing a low flow after the reset, the control box may need to be replaced. If you have additional questions, please feel free to call us at 800-289-6636. Our business hours are 8:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. Eastern Time Monday through Friday.

A:  I was having a similar issue, but with any usage of the faucet after having it for 1 year. We had to turn off the supply line, open it up and clean the teeny tiny filter that comes with it and then the flow was back to normal. However, there is one on the hot and cold supply lines, so you have to clean both. It is also not easy to take apart to clean, so this is annoying, especially if I have to do it every year. We're getting older and being under the sink is not easy. You can google how to take it apart and that's helpful.

A:  I would return because that should not happen. I never had to do anything to adjust the flow /amount of water when I use the motion sensor.

A:  yes, it works manually as any normal faucet. But in the 5 years I had it plugged in, there was an instance where we came home and the faucet was open and unable to shut it down. Customer service assessed that a power outage caused it. Unplug when away.

A:  This faucet only runs on 6AA batteries and there's no other adapter or power source. I had this faucet installed in April 2019 and have replaced the batteries once. I really like the hands free aspect when I'm baking or my hands are messy from making meatloaf. I would not change my faucet choice or the functionality at all.
