Q:Why does HD try to sell this trowel and not carry the adapter handle bracket ? worthless tool with out a handle.

A: The Home Depot does stock the adapter to use with this Fresno to allow you to use with push button handles. The 1-3/8 adapter is 16-MR-HD or their sku# 133980; the 1-3/4 adapter is 16-MRL-HD or their sku# 1002756895.
