Answer This Question
A: I have one of these. They have three 54" rigid aluminum sections that hinge together. Easy to install. Cut and frame out the opening in the ceiling. Screw into the sides like hanging a door jam and trim out the bottom. It folds down.

Answer This Question
A: After gluing the plywood to the MDF door panel, bevel or round over the edge of the plywood on the hinge end of the door panel before installing to ensure door can open at the proper angle.

A: Thank you for the question! Yes, adding the plywood panel is okay and there will not be any clearance issues. If needed, you may install some type of latch to keep the door closed.

Answer This Question
A: No insulation, however, on my door there was about a 1/2" of space between the wood and metal works which I was able to insulate with some 1/2" foil backed rigid foam board cut to size allowing for the door to properly shut. Mine is about 10yrs old now.

A: Thank you for the question! No, it is not insulated.
