Q:I need to replace this bulb but want something not as bright this time. Can I use metal halide lower than 100 Watt? or maybe LED?

A:  This fixture requires one 100-Watt metal halide bulb. We cannot confirm if not specified light bulbs will be compatible with this product.

        A:  No, you will have to add a photocell to the junction box where it is mounted to.

        A:  I set it up to be a dusk to dawn light on a photo sensor that was NOT included with the light. so to answer your question. It can be with the proper sensor sold separately.

        A:  No, but very easy to wire in a dusk to dawn photo cell. That's what I did and its great.

          A:  Lithonia Lighting printed 5980 lumens on the package. This should be listed in the specifications.

          A:  Lithonia Lighting has printed 5980 lumens on the box. I am not sure why the other 2 answers do not reflect this. Home Depot should add this to the specifications page. I was unsure of the lumens until I bought the light fixture.
