Q:The wheels on these slides tend to break, however I think the problem may be the interior supports or I should say lack of support. The inside of our drawers have pieces of plastic that the support rail apparently snaps into as I see no hardware that is screwed into the wood frame to hold these supports. The have a 1" square piece of wood which is approximately 36" long running from the bottom of the cabinet up to the top of the drawer and these pieces of wood are not secured to the walls of the cabinet but rather have what appears to be set screws with spacer that I think keep the rails in line. At the back of the support rail is a piece of plastic that the drawer rails slide into, but this appears to be a snap on type of support. I see nothing at all even near this piece on this web site nor do you have it in any of your stores in my area. I am at a lost as these pieces are integral to the operation of the drawer.

A: I measure the old one and match it up that way. If it worked once then it should work the next time.

A: Audrey, Thank you for your question. It would be best to get a new drawer slide that is the same size as the one it is replacing. Best, Customer Care Team

Q:hi
i have this groove in the side of my drawer. the drawer wont slide and gets stuck to the wood its sliding on. Will this work? how do I measure to find out if these would fit into the groove? what are all of the measurements of each piece?

Answer This Question
A: I had the same problem. The wooden groove wore out so I bought these slides as an upgrade. The problem I had was that the drawer would not fit into its opening because of the drawer slide wheel sticking out too far. That's not the fault of the slides, it's the design of your drawer and cabinet. I'd suggest installing a center slide underneath the drawer.

A: needpaint, Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, these would not be able to work with a groove. Drawer slides are very specific on placement for proper function. This slide needs to be installed 13/16" up from the bottom of the drawer. Best, Customer Care Team

Q:This item is called 22 inch. But the Specs show that the Maximum expandable length is 18.38 inches. Is this a conflict?
The drawer glide that I need to replace is 21.5" long (the piece attached to each side of the drawer) and 22.5" (the piece attached to the inside of the cabinet). Will this model be a suitable replacement? If not, what model will be suitable for my situation?

A: Ajay, Thank you for your question. The actual length of the drawer slides are 22". The maximum expandable length is referring to the opening of the drawer after installation. Best, Customer Care Team
