A:  SSplintering I don't know. But it is raw untreated wood that needs to be sealed like decking if it is left out in the elements

A:  Products allready come with an acrylic based outdoor grade stain/sealer applied, additional finish can be applied by consumer if they wish, if they do we recommend to use a similar acrylic based finish you can find at a local paint store.

A:  be best to seal from weather, I used spar urethane sealant, 4 coats

A:  Mine has been undercover of a porch for a year. But it is still exposed to the elements. The wood has an aged patina appearance, but in excellent condition.

A:  I think the paperwork says 600lbs max. But we have had 850-900lbs, sitting still (eating, playing cards). That can be adjusted with the wood, the sturdier the wood the more weight it can support.

A:  the weight capacity for this product is 700lbs
