Q:Can you reverse the rotation of the tine direction

Answer This Question

A:  The LF20212RTG does not have an option to reverse the direction of rotation on the tines.

A:  Scarify is forward rotation of tines, stall is no rotation, furrow is counterrotation on the RTG version. The RT version is apparently only counter rotation. Unfortunately there is a lot of confusion because the machines look so similar, etc.

Q:Tiller started fun but is leaking fluid out top of gear box. Looks like there is a plastic chimney with a hole in it that the fluid is leaking from.

          Answer This Question

A:  Hey Eugene, to put your Legend Force LF20212RTG into freewheel mode, the wheel drive locking pins on both sides must be inserted through only the axle shaft and not through the wheel hub. If you continue to have trouble with this, give us a call at (866) 591-8921, and we can provide a diagram.

A:  I got one with trans oil leaking out the bottom. HD is sending a new one. I see lots of complaints about this issue. Mine was clearly opened and then tossed back in the box and resold as new. The manual says it?s supposed to have trans fluid inside. Odd.

A:  Apparently some have gear oil and some do not. My directions said there was no gear oil in machine and that I needed to add it. There had been a leak of approximately one quart on one side of box. So it was shipped full. Not a big deal to me.

A:  Clearly I stated tiller has no oil in it. So it is NOT already installed..

Q:Hey. There?s an extra wire by the start switch with a connector. It?s dangling from a splitter. The other connector is plugged into the start/stop switch. What the heck? Is this a service connection that isn?t used? You should put this info in the manual!

A:  I have the same problem. I haven?t even finished assembling it. Decided to put the levers in neutral and stall. Had to grab and yank with all my might to move them. Took five tries to land on the position I wanted. What a joke.
