A:  I am not sure exactly how much weight it can hold, but I have books on 3 of the 5 shelves and it's fine. It's strong because it leans against the wall.

A:  They are screwed in. You need an allen wrench to screw them in place.

A:  Possibly attach to the cross pole of your tent, or attach a panel to the ladder which reaches the cross pole with some type of hardware to attach to the cross piece at the top. Good luck!

A:  I personally don't have it screwed in either, but it's leaning against a bedroom wall. That has worked for me. I'm not sure about a tent since its not a solid wall. The shelves are for items thay aren't very heavy. I love the ladder. It's worked out well for me.

A:  It can't. It is cheaply made. Wood is stapled. I had it one month, then trashed it.

A:  The ladder is on a tilt. It won’t stand unless it has something sturdy to lean on.
