A: This shelf is able to be used for books.

A: No, this shelf cannot even hold kids books. I think it would collapse under the weight of a decent book collection anyways. Would not recommend.

Q:Would this be suitable as a ladder for a cat? The dimensions are described as: Dimensions: 51.325 in. H x 16.125 in. W, (longest shelf): 11.5 in. L, shelf width: 15 in. Would you conclude each individual shelf is a different width and length? The description of "W, (longest shelf): 11.5 in." is contradictory with "W" meaning Width yet (longest shelf) and the same contradiction with: L, shelf width: 15 in. with 'L' meaning Length yet they use the term 'width' in the same measurement. Thanks!

A: If it's a small cat. Depth of shelves is graduated from about a foot and the bottom to about 6 in. at the top. They're all the same width, 15 in.

A: No it is too flimsy to hold a cat on it and it would be too dangerous. It is also straight up and down, meaning no tilt in it if that was what you were asking.

Q:I’m wondering how sturdy this product is. I have to bring in my outdoor potted plants for the winter time and I plan to use this. I am worried though that the feet will slide on my hardwood floors. Anyone have any problems with this? Perhaps I could put some grippy material underneath.

A: I really like this product. I use it for mail and have it propped up diagonally on the wall. Depending on the height and pot size of your plants, I don’t think there is enough room between shelves and not enough support for anything truly heavy...hope this helps and I am including photo..for me it is like a useful catch all.
