Q:I have limited space and will be replacing an electrical range with a gas range. I have been looking at the LRG3091AW. The current range sits near a corner and in order to open the drawers on that wall I need to open the oven door so the drawers have enough clearance to open. I need to know the depth dimension of this range without the handle and then with the handle to see if this appliance will work in this space. What is the thickness of the oven door?

Q:Does the range come with a propane conversion kit?

    Answer This Question

A:  Apologies for the delay, as it turns out the information is not available to me at this time, please visit the LG Customer Support: https://wws.lg.com/us/support/message-customer-support The conversion to LP is an option for this model and must be done by a certified technician. However the manual does not indicate if the LP kit is included or which type of nozzle would be needed.

Q:Seller says Range dosen't come with one Broiling on a rack lets drips down on base for a mess to clean on knees
        by|May 24, 2013
        1 Answer
        Answer This Question

A:  Yes, that is correct; this range does not come with a Broiling Pan. A broiling pan can be purchased separately, and used with this oven. It is not recommended to broil directly on the rack. Page 15 of the owner’s manual specifically states to place the food on the grid of a broiler pan.

Q:The broiler & self-cleaning function are not working on my 2-year old stove. Is there a way to check the pilot light for the broiler?
          by|Apr 17, 2013

          Answer This Question

A:  We regret the trouble you have experienced with this range. There is no search point for a pilot light on this gas range. If the unit is not heating, then it will need to be inspected by a service technician. To make service arrangements, you may either contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000, or you can check our Repair Provider Lookup on our website, at http://www.lg.com/us/support/repair/support-repair-provider-lookup.jsp.

Q:It looks like the oven and broiler cannot be used during a power outage. Is it the same for the cooktop burners, or can the burners be lit and used when the power is out?

                    Answer This Question

A:  Yes you can use the burners during a power outage but you will need to use a match, lighter or preferably a long fireplace or grill match/lighter. You can not use the oven during a power failure due to the use of electronic oven controls.
