A: Koni Brick is manufactured out of cement/concrete and adhered with Type N or Type S mortar, thin-set or a construction-grade adhesive. It's not recommended to use a double-sided adhesive mat.

Q:I added a joint compound as a backsplash wall treatment which is not completely flat but I have not painted it yet. I just purchased the white brick veneers and want this instead. Should I seal the joint compound prior to applying the brick veneers?

A: Sand the joint compound flat and smooth, this is important if you want your tile job to be successful.
Prime it and allow the primer to dry throughly. Then apply thin set and place your brick.
