A: You can do everything you can do with a blender, except you only dirty the pan you are cooking in and the tip of the immersion blender, which you remove and rinse clean......................

A: We do not recommend using the Immersion Blender for making soap. It has not been tested for that use.

A: I do not make soap so cannot say for sure. I imagine you could but do not know if I would like to use mine with lye.
