Q:Do the faucet water lines need separable holes or do they use the same 5 inch hole as the drain?...

Answer This Question
A: Hi John,
Thanks for your inquiry.
The recommended 5 inch diameter hole is suggested to make sure there is enough room for the concave washer to be pressed up against the bottom of the sink creating an air tight seal. Not necessarily for the waterlines.
You can also apply a few beads of waterproof silicone under the perimeter of the sink to help stabilize it further.
Our faucets requires a recommended hole size of 1 3/8".
