Q:I recently had the 60/40 sink installed with my new quartz countertops and I noticed on the smaller side the water sits in the sink near the edge of the disposal. We've tried to remove some of the putty around the lip but the water still doesn't completely flow to drain. Is there a recommended disposal that would prevent this issue? I really love the way the sink looks otherwise. Thank you.

A:  Hi KRW, Thanks for reaching out to us. Our sinks offer a standard hole size diamater of 3 1/2" and can accomodate any garbage disposal. However, you may want to inspect the flange of your disposal to ensure it is not affecting the drainage. We would also be happy to assist. Please feel free to reach out to us at 800-775-0703 or via email at customerservice@kraususa.com with any additional questions. Thank you for reaching out.

A:  I remember it being very sturdy and that it was 16 gauge. I ended up not doing the basement Re-hab but I did purchase a Krause double sink for my kitchen. Great product,

A:  I am not a professional on sink gauges, having said that if you have already sent a communication to the manufacturer and have actually called them I would suggest you try again. If you are not willing to wait for the answer there are many sites that explain sink gauges and give you ways to confirm the statement made by the manufacturer. Sorry this is not the answer you are looking for at all, but I can tell you that we currently have 2 Kraus sinks in our home and I am extremely happy with the quality and design of their sinks.

A:  So I take it from the politically correctly phrased answer from Kraus that they are made in China or Vietnam. Why can't they just answer the question? Are they ashamed that they have outsourced their manufacturing? I can almost guarantee that unless they are shipping the stainless sheets from the US, the stainless is not what is advertised. For once answer a question honestly. If you are ashamed that you are sourcing in China... get out of there.

Q:I have drilled 1/2 inch deep holes with a 3/8 drill bit. The white fasteners don’t even come close to fitting in. I made a hole a little wider with a Dremel tool and after screwing it down The threaded part became detached from the white fastener. Only eight fasteners left after I broke the first one trying to get it into the 3/8in hole. What would be the exact width of the hole to be drilled please? I even got out another 3/8 bit to be sure it was the correct size. Thanks

Q:Sink dimensions show as 23" length (side-to-side), and 17.5" width front-to-back, with a 9" deep sink basin. The Length and Width include the mount lip. How much does that remove from inside dimensions? In other words, what are the inside length and width - what is the widest size pan that can fit inside?

Q:Can the garbage disposal go on either side? My last sink had the disposal installed on the right side, next to the dishwasher. That would make the smaller of the two sinks as the main washing side and the left side would be for drying.
