A:  Yes, no problem at all. We have an Insinkerator Evolution Plus disposal mounted to our sink.

A:  Yes, I installed a Badger which has been replaced by a Insinkerator evolution select plus.  There is 7 1/2 inches remaining.

A:  Yes, garbage disposals are 100% compatible with our sinks. Rather than install a disposal to the drain, the disposal will replace the drain as it has its own flange and mounts directly to the sink.

A:  Yes. We had the sink installed using the existing garbage disposal.

A:  Bonnie, Thank you for your question, the shipping weight for this model sink is roughly 16 lb

A:  I don't know but I am a 70 year young 140 lb lady and I was able to handle it by myself. Great sink, by the way. Love it.

A:  The minimum recommended cabinet size for our KBU32 sink is 36" in order to ensaure there is enough space within the cabinet for the hardware included with the sink. A:  I wouldn’t know. I had my sink installed by the counter top installer. They used the template from the sink to cut the cut out. It a great sink.

A:  I remember it being very sturdy and that it was 16 gauge. I ended up not doing the basement Re-hab but I did purchase a Krause double sink for my kitchen. Great product,

A:  I am not a professional on sink gauges, having said that if you have already sent a communication to the manufacturer and have actually called them I would suggest you try again. If you are not willing to wait for the answer there are many sites that explain sink gauges and give you ways to confirm the statement made by the manufacturer. Sorry this is not the answer you are looking for at all, but I can tell you that we currently have 2 Kraus sinks in our home and I am extremely happy with the quality and design of their sinks.
