The 9135 drain is for tile-in applications. The Purist shower receptor will with the 9132-BN drain. This Kohler shower drain is designed to be installed on any shower receptor, not meant for tile or marble installations. Can be installed on 2" metal or plastic pipe. A:  Yes! We had a custom shower built and have a hot mop shower. Very nice!

Yes shower drain model number 9135-CP can be used on a hot mop shower, however be sure to leave access as indicated on the installation guide and also not make the tar to hot that it would melt the drain.
