        A:  It can be glued to pvc. I don't know about ABS. Tom

          A:  Yes, the one I ordered is glued to ABS pipe on a shower drain line.

            A:  No, this shower drain is not recommended for use with Red Guard installations.

              A:  Not sure since we had a custom shower built and didn't use a shower pan. The shower drain is a nice polished chrome.
