A:  Hi Sean, this is Sarah with Kohler Customer Service. I'm glad to answer your question. Yes, the holes can be covered with an escutcheon plate if one comes with your faucet. If the faucet you select does not have an escutcheon plate to cover the unused holes, you can use the hole cover K-8830 for any holes needing covering. Thank you for choosing Kohler.

A:  Yes, there are a number of different sink hole covers that would fit any sink hole. To be sure I would get one that has only a bolt underneath the cover so that you ensure proper fitting through the whole. Best of luck

A:  Definitely, did that on mine. Used a Moen single handle faucet with a spray attachment instead of the soap dispenser for the fourth hole. Sink weighs 75 lbs. get help when you install it. Good luck.

A:  No. This cannot be used with a hudee ring as it is made for an overlap.

A:  I did not use a hudee ring......I set it right onto (dropped into) the formica countertop and then used a clear sealant around the sink.

A:  I can't find a listing for the K-RH version, but this unit seems to be of single cast metal. I am replacing an American Standard sink that began to corrode at one edge and in layers. The specs don't give a weight, but this is maybe to 60lb or more.

A:  I would suggest using silicone to help prevent movement and to provide a moisture barrier around the edge .

A:  Put a bead of silicone on the countertop. This will secure it to the countertop and keep water from getting under the sink and entering the cabinet.

A:  I would definitely not skip the silicone. Even though the sink Is very heavy, the surfaces won't be perfectly flat and you need a moisture barrier. The silicane will fill the gaps between the surfaces and reduce problems down the road.

A:  I believe that it is stain resistant. The finish appears to be a baked on enamel that has not chipped on me yet and cleans up very well. We are very hard on our sink and it has held up well.

A:  You just have to set it in place as it is quite heavy and use clear silicone to hold it in place. I also bought a chrome plated grill also made by Kholer, that sits on the bottom to protect the porcelain finish. So far a couple of years later it has kept the sink scratch free, a good investment.

A:  The weight of it holds it down really well in our countertop. All I did was put clear caulk around the edges. It should not budge.

A:  It's very heavy and therefore I don't believe it requires anything more than silicone sealant. I installed mine without clamps and just used silicone sealant. It seems to be fine and doesn't not budge.

A:  We used the glue. Worked out great.

A:  Yes it could. You’d have to find something that fit and glue it in place. However I believe a 3 hole sink option is available.

A:  I'm unsure whether the fourth hole can be plugged. My suggestion is to use the fourth hole either for a spray attachment or pump soap dispenser.

A:  Yes it can be plugged there is no use for it.

A:  Yes it can be sealed with a cap like cover. I didn't think I liked it but found that I use it with the dish soap dispenser I bought separately.......no bottle of dish soap knocking over all the time !

A:  The sink does come with a template. In addition, I was able to find a template for this sink online which helped us to prepare the countertop before the sink arrived.

A:  I would not attempt to do that myself. I'm sure it could be done by a professional with the correct tools. Couldn't the purifier be connected underneath?

A:  I doubt you can drill a hole for a water purifier. This sink has an extremely hard surface which I believe would crack during drilling. However you could substitute the hand soap dispenser on the far right hole and install the water purifier there. Hope that helps. Pete B.

A:  This requires a cabinet with a minimum width (side-to-side) of 27 inches.

A:  Yes it is. I put this sink in a 27in base cabinet. Base cabinets are 24in deep.( depth from wall)

A:  Yes. There is also a specification tab that you can access which provides a visual diagram of the actual dimensions of the sink to include width, length, and depth.

A:  yes. it is the width of the cabinet parallel to the 25" of the sink. The front and rear of the sink is 25"

A:  I'm not sure I understand question, but if your asking does sink need to be 27" or 25" from wall , NO it does not. All it's suggesting is the cabinet you install it in should be a minimum of 27".
