Due to the hard material of enamel, it will not get true scratches, however, it can get pot marks which are small marks from pots and pans that is the pot or pan material rubbing off on the sink. A:  As longs the underside of the sink is smaller then 24" you should be ok.

A:  Hello, scratches that are deeper cannot be remove or filled in. Even in case where they were, it would come off. Many cases of minor scratches can be polished with Kohler genuine Cast iron cleaner. It is amazing and will make sink look new.

A:  Once you cut out your hole, put some 2x4 braces from side to side in the cabinet.

A:  With a properly installed laminate countertop, the 79 lb sink is not a problem. It looks great and I have been very pleased.
