Q:Can this be installed with the handle to the left?

Answer This Question

A:  Certainly, there is nothing to stop you from doing that.

by|Aug 6, 2019

A:  Unfortunately no. I'm very happy with the product but wished that it was able to be a left-hand pull also. You can mount it in that way, but the handle doesn't look right sitting on the left due to the shape of handle and angle. Other than that, the product is a very good one. I have had no issues with it and the mounting is pretty straight forward. Good luck!

A:  Yes, but the sense of the hot and cold would be reversed and the handle curve might be awkward.xxx

A:  Hello Kart82, my name is Kassi with Kohler Co. I'd be glad to answer your question. The handle can be moved to the left or right on the Bellera faucet. Thank you for choosing KOHLER.

        by|Aug 6, 2019

A:  Yes. Mine is on the right but have discovered it will work either way. May change it. Would not be a problem.

A:  New hose is possibly needed, I think the "white ring" is a part that is not sold separately. I assume you mean the white plastic part inside the joint where the head screws to the hose . If so the company may send you a hose or the part . The part I am assuming you are talking about has a female allen screw port to unscrew...

A:  The buttons on the spray head are rubberized. We purchased this Faucet in January 2017 and have been very pleased with it. No problems at all. Would highly recommend.

Q:I am looking for a kitchen faucet that is fully functional from the faucet sprayer end in order for my daughter to reach and use it from her wheelchair.

A:  Hi, In order for yr daughter to use any kitchen faucet, it would have to be wheelchair assessable. Otherwise the faucet would have to either be positioned close to the edge of the counter or the spray head would have to be lifted out and laid on the countertop for easy access. albeit, you'll still have a reach to turn it on/off. This faucet is a very nice unit, however, after just over a year the rubber hose inside the faucet began to leak. We contacted the manufacturer and it took several weeks to receive a new hose under the warranty. You may want to contact a plumber and have the whole unit repositioned close to the counter's edge for total accessibility.

A:  Hi Lori, I have attached three photos for you. The faucet has to be turned on and off by using the paddle handle at the base of the faucet. No where on the extended piece does it allow you to turn it on or off. I really hope this faucet is sufficient for your daughter. I would like to say how much I love mine. It is the best kitchen faucet I have ever owned. I especially love the sweep spray feature.

A:  Yes. Very reliable, too. You get full pressure using either regular flow or spray.

A:  It pulls down to countertop level and stays there.

A:  I’m not quite sure what you mean. The spray head can be detached and pulled and you press a button on the head to regulate the spray pattern.

A:  Hi Lori, this is Sarah with Kohler Co. I'm glad to address your question. The spray/stream functions can be selected from the sprayer, however, to adjust the temperature and turn the faucet on and off, you would need to rotate the handle on the side of the spout. Thank you for choosing KOHLER.

I will be installing next to a wall and I'm afraid that there won't be enough room to push the lever back if that's how it operates. Some of the marketing pictures show it installed in a similar way, but I can't be sure from the picture.

A:  It moves forward and back. I did not have enough room to install it with the handle on the right or left hand side, so I mounted it with the handle in front. It works great and I LOVE this faucet! The only thing is, if you mount it with the handle in front, make sure you reverse the water hookups. My cold is on the left and my hot is on the right. I've gotten used to it though, it's no big deal. The rectangle sprayer is fantastic!!!

A:  Turning on the water takes movement of the handle in a side ways motion, moving the handle forward and back tempers the water hotter as you move it away from you. So yes the handle should move forward and back.

Mine is a couple of years old now, and is still a good looking, quality, durable product. The only thing I didn't like is that, IMHO, the handle should be back for hot water and forward for cold. The "natural" (to me) way to leave the handle is forward. Easily fixed by just swapping the hot and cold water inlet lines. Different strokes for different folks.

I wondered the same thing before purchasing because I wanted it to be tall enough to allow for washing or filling large pots. This faucet met that requirement with plenty of room to spare. It is actually much taller than you expect from the photo.

If you are asking about the pull out section of the nozzle it will pull out about 7 or 8 inches below the base mounting or a total of about 19 inches from its mounted position when in the magnetic lock position. Hope this helps with your question.

A very nice distance for larger items in your sink. The spout pulls down over 24 inches, more than sufficient for most uses. I am extremely pleased with this very reasonably priced faucet. I replaced a fixed faucet that was significantly more expensive.

We own this faucet and love it nonetheless. I especially like that I can switch to a spray feature and extend the nozzle to better clean our very deep sink.

This was installed by our builder 2 years ago when the home was built, and now I'm noticing that the water on/off handle is leaking every time I turn the water on and off. Is there a fix for this or does the entire unit have to be replaced!?
