A:  3 inches but the towel ring swivels from the base. Straight down it hangs at 3 inches. Straight out it’s about 10 inches out but I don’t know why anyone would use it that way.

A:  It will extend to 189 degrees from wall if needed. Otherwise, in the down position 4 to 6 inches.

A:  There is a small screw on the main attachment just under the ring. You would use this to loosen the screw to remove the plate. This is also what you tighten once it's back on the wall plate.
