A: Yes, it would hold two small/med small cats well. My cat won't share I'm sure once we start using the heating pad, but with very high fall temps, we've not used the electric, silver coil insulated cord going to the soft pad. We intend to build a wooden structure over this house for extra protection from the weather. It is on our deck and we have several hiding covers next to our house, (upside down large rectangular bins (tractor supply) surrounded by straw and lined with wheat straw inside for warmth. We add towels or old bath rugs in winter for softness/more insulation. Make sure tops of bins have "bags of straw" (EZ care removal come spring) added to insulate.

A: Yes, but the instructions advised not to put any food or water in house. The fleece heating pad I thought looked and felt very comforting.

A: It's small the stray I have won't go in it because it's so small.

A: The interior surface of the Outdoor Heated Kitty House measures 14" x 18". Chances are that even two small cats will be very cramped in this space. For multiple kitties we suggest the K&H Outdoor Heated Multi-Kitty A-Frame. This product can be found on Home Depot through this link. http://www.homedepot.com/p/205043768

A: OK, it is plug in, with the metal wire coil covering for weather proofing. We have not used it yet, 80 deg. in Atlanta until this week!

A: The Outdoor Heated Kitty House is electric, so it does need to be plugged into an electrical outlet.

A: The silver metal coil covering to electric cord goes to a nice soft pad. Ours is on our deck next to outdoor elec outlet.

A: It is plug in only, and cautions to make sure your outlet is well grounded to prevent electrical shock. We have a covered porch. I would not use it in an open space.
