Answer This Question
A: Hello, this fixture could work for this application. Consider LED lamps for the best performance in cold weather conditions. This fixture is designed for use with 50W PAR20 lamps. The lampholder is a medium base socket. When considering the use of an LED replacement lamp in a Juno luminaire, Juno Lighting Group recommends the end-user closely follow the application guidelines provided by the lamp manufacturer. Furthermore, the following principles must be adhered to: The LED replacement lamp must be UL Listed. The LED replacement lamp shall only be used as direct replacements for the lamp type and wattages as indicated by the lamp manufacturer. The LED replacement lamp shall not be used on a dimming circuit unless specifically marked as “Dimmable.” The LED replacement lamp shall not be used in an enclosed luminaire if it is labeled “Not for use in totally enclosed fixtures.” The LED replacement lamp shall not be used with emergency fixtures or emergency exit lights. The LED replacement lamp, when specified by the lamp manufacturer for “base down” orientation only, shall not be used in a luminaire where the lamp orientation can be other than base down. The LED replacement lamp shall only be utilized within the environment indicated on the lamp or packaging such as: Dry Location Only, Damp Location (Not for use where directly exposed to water), Wet Location (Typically have restrictions regarding use or orientation). Thanks!
