A:  Thank you for your inquiry on Jeld-Wen product. The windows are Bronze on the exterior side only. The interior is white and this is the only color we offer.

A:  Thank you for a good question. This window is supplied with an insect screen made using charcoal fiberglass mesh screen material and white heavy gauge screen frames to match the window frame. In your example of a bronze window exterior, the screen frame is the same color.

The actual net heel size of this window is 35 ½” wide x 35 ½” high. The window jamb total over all depth measures 2 15/16" and the measurement from behind the nail fin to the interior edge is 1 5/8 inches. The weight of the window by itself (not including any packaging) is approximately 31 pounds. The lead time from order until delivery averages between 14 and 21 days. A:  Soundproof? No. However, due to the fact that it is insulated there is a substantial “reduction” of ambient noise. As an example, I’m sure you have witnessed the difference between driving with car windows open and how much quieter it is when closed. Automobile windows are a single piece of glass making it easier for sound to pass thru them. Insulated windows have two sheets of glass with air space between. The “dead area” inside significantly reduces the ability for sound to transfer from one side to the other. Obviously one can’t expect total silence but insulated windows do indeed reduce noise quite a bit.
