The screen is installed toward the interior side of the window. The exterior color of this window is Dark Chocolate Brown but the interior is white. Therefore, the color screen is white to match the interior color.

A:  Thank you for a good question. This window is supplied with integral nail fin/flange intended for use in new construction installation applications only. The nail flange can be removed by carefully scribing it with a utility knife and snapping it off for a block frame or fin-less installation.
