      A:  Thank you for your inquiry. This unit does not open to a 90 degree angle. You may find what you are looking for in a casement unit, but you may have to add maximum opening hardware to it to get the full opening effect. Hope this helps.

                A:  Thank you for a good question. This Premium Series Awning window has a hinged sash (at the top of the window) that opens from the bottom out away from the window frame toward the exterior at a fully-extended 30 degree angle. Awning windows open at the sill of the window with the assistance of a rotary/gear operator cranked open using the included nesting crank handle.
