A:  What are the slats made of?

A:  Plastic of some sort

A:  They are some sort of hard plastic material that is really great to sit on and won't rot. It is pretty heavy but will last forever. Went through the Houston floods great!

A:  Hello! The slats in the swing are made with HDPE recycled plastic. They are manufactured with recycled materials like milk jugs, laundry detergent bottles, and other materials of this nature at our facility in Syracuse, IN. They are made to withstand many different elements including snowy winters, strong winds, salty environments on the coasts, and the hot sun. It is also warranted not to splinter, crack, chip, peel, or rot for 20 years residential use. Thank you for the great question! Ashley

A:  Yes if the measurements of the swing will go with your frame for width and weight.

A:  Hello Ron, When you purchase the swing, it will be for just the swing. A stand isn't included. A chain kit is included as well. Included in the chain kit are 4 eye bolts, 4 snap hooks, 2 S hooks, and 4 5ft. chains. The S hooks attach to the end of the of the 5 ft. chain so anything above the S hook is not included. A:  I would say so if the cushion can be tied to the swing to stay in position.

A:  Hello! Thank you for your question. The seat size of this swing is 56 x 15.5, so that cushion would be a bit too large for the seat.

A:  I don't know, because it would depend on how you hang it. Ours is on a tree and both my husband and I sit on it fine, so it has to have at least a 400 lb limit. The swing would probably hold more, but we don't want to put too much stress on the tree.

A:  This item has a weight capacity of 300 lbs.

A:  I have the same question. It says the weight capacity is 300 pounds but it also says it is a 3 person swing. That would be 3 small elementary age children. The weight capacity has to do with the chains you may choose to use as well as the structure of the swing but a 300pound capacity is not sufficient for a swing this wide... did you find out any more?

A:  I would check the manufactures limit either on the box, instruction sheet, or call 800 number.
