A:  Yes. If you turn the Insteon light switch off with the Insteon remote you can still turn the light on manually if you want.

A:  1800W equals about 2.4HP. You could use the switch as long as the HP is below, however we would expect the life of the relay to shorten over time since it is primarily meant for lighting loads. We would recommend hooking up the Insteon switch to a contactor and let the contactor control the pump and use the switch to engage the contactor as needed.

A:  You can use just the buttons to control your lights but only on the switch you will not be able to use your smart phone app for smarthome to turn on or off devices. Ronbo

A:  This switch is capable of handling 240v and has 50/60 Hertz detection, but is not designed for use outside of the United States.

A:  Yes. You would need to have the light controlled by Insteon...either use the 2477S or 2475SDB relay. Then you would link the remote to the switch, or relay. With clear line of sight that will not be an issue.

A:  Yes it’s possible, follow instructions that come with and it’s simple. If U have issues contact the manufacturer they’ve been helpful

A:  This does work with Alexa. It requires the 2245-222 Hub.

A:  This product works with Alexa via Proprietary Bridge/Gateway.

A:  Insteon switches will fit into any regular sized wall plate.
