A: It worked best for me (three tanks) when I poured half the bottle in the tank and then used a brush on the sides and bottom of the tank. After light brushing, the tank came much cleaner than when I just poured it in and waited the designated time. Great results!
A: Remove any bleach type cleaner or device from toilet tank or bowl. With tank full of water 1. Pour 8oz (1/2 bottle) into tank 2. Stir tank water to ensure consistent mixture 3. For best results, leave in tank overnight 4. For stubborn stains, repeat as necessary. Please call our helpline with any questions 1-800-613-4242. Enjoy your new clean tank!!
A: you just pour it into the tank and let it set over night, but truthfully I was disappointed in the results.
A: Yes then let it sit overnight, it does an incredible job
A: Yes. Pour it in and let it work a few hours or overnight.
A: Toilet tank cleaner will dissolve mineral deposits but by the time it reaches the flush holes it is diluted and will help a little but not a ton. We recommend trying a different product...Instant Power Toilet Bowl Cleaner (available at homedepot.com) is specifically designed for this problem and is very effective.
A: This product may have helped with deposits but I did follow up with a concentrated toilet bowl cleaner(Zep Commercial toilet cleaner from Home Depot) that dissolves lime deposits. I poured the concentrate down the overflow tube and let it soak for and hour and then gave it a few flushes. This really made a big difference with getting a good flush. I did repeat that process a second time ant it just kept getting better. Be sure and scrub under the rim around and along the area where the water holes are too. It took a little time to do all this but now my toilet works like a new one again.
A: No
A: For that big of a buildup I don't know how well this would work. I would scrub as good as I can and then mix a strong concentration of the TOILET TANK CLEANER and put it into the tank and bowel and let it sit for at least twelve hours. It will take more than one treatment for something that big.
A: Yes in my case it did. Amazing product.
A: Yes. Wked pretty good an would use again if needed.
A: Yes, Instant Power Toilet Tank Cleaner is safe for septic system with mounds. The product will be very diluted by the time is reachs your septic system. If you have any questions, please call our helpline 1-800-613-4242. Thank you!
A: This is septic safe.
A: Not sure, but using vinegar regularly will help with the mold and mildew. Bleach does not kill mold. It only discolors it. This is information I got from a mold remediator.
A: I doubt it. Try bleach. Let it sit for a few hours after scrubbing all of the surfaces with the bleach. Do not mix other cleaners with bleach, there may be a chemical reaction that produces toxic fumes. Bleach is a very strong chemical. Use with caution and personal protection such as eye protection and gloves. Every spilled drop can cause a problem so use with care.
A: No, toilet tank cleaner will not kill mold or mildew.
A: Not really
A: Yes
A: it removed them anyway - not positive if they were killed, but they are gone
A: no
A: Do not think so. My two tanks seem OK after using this product
A: No it doesn't damage any parts. We have a septic system and have had no problems using this product. It is an amazing cleaner.
A: When used as directed it will not damage any parts in your toilet. It is safe for septic.
A: The product did not damage any of the three tank working parts we used it on. No knowledge of septic tank question.
