A:  I wouldn't cut the width since its a finished edge and not necessary since its a slider you can hopefully live with a little extra overlap in the middle but you can cut the height and would be cheaper option than a custom door. Just make sure whomever does it is skilled and has the right tools. You will need to remove, cut, replace the hardware on the top edges. You will also need to cut down the track any good hacksaw or a metal blade on a power saw will do the job. Thank you

A:  Tommy, They can but we dont advise it since you will have an unfinished edge. You can always go with this unit without cutting it and you will just have a little extra overlap in the middle.
