A:  Rich, It turns out this is a typo which we are getting fixed. That is the height range for out 84" door. The height range for the 80" unit is 79-1/2" to 80-1/2" Sorry about that. Our doors are manufactured to fit into a "Finished Opening" the adjustability is built into the door for the appropriate height. In your example there is about 1" of adjustability either way for the door size chosen. The rough opening really doesn't figure in. I hope this helps. A:  mitch, You sure could but its mot a great option. A better idea is its also available in prefinished white already. You can go back to this item on HomeDepot.com and change the color selectiosn to "white" Thank you.

A:  Kathy, It sure will you will just need to cut down the top and bottom track. Any good hacksaw or a metal blade on a power saw will do the job. You will also have a little extra overlap in the middle but most folks dont really care about that since the alternative is a more costly custom-sized unit. Thank you for your question.
