        Answer This Question

A:  The SK602 is a standalone system, we called it QH series. it is not compatible with the SK6 series. You can buy sensor SK602-1 or SK602-1G and link to the receiver in the kit of SK602 or SK602G.

        by|Sep 8, 2020

A:  Only the one sensor that comes with the receiver can be used. The sensor and receiver were given a unique code at time of manufacture that cannot be changed. If you need a second sensor, the only thing to do is buy another sensor and receiver set.

        by|Feb 16, 2019

A:  This particular model is not compatible with additional sensors. You would need the IDEAL Security SK698 starter kit.

A:  The SK602 starter kit *CAN* be expanded with additional SK602-1 sensors. Both colors are interoperable if you want to mix and match. Thank you for pointing this out! You're absolutely right, the system was upgraded and we haven't update the description here. We're working on that right now. Sorry for the confusion, and thank you for your help!

A:  No way to change the dound.

                    by|Feb 2, 2019

A:  Yes. There is a switch on the right side of the receiver that allows you to select either 'alarm' mode (a continuous loud siren) or 'chime' mode (a 'ding dong' type of ring). In addition, there is a switch on the left side that selects the loudness of the ring - either 'hi' or 'low'.

A:  The alarm will last for about 25 seconds once motion is detected. If the alarm didn't stop, then there is still movement, or the battery power is low in the sensor.

A:  They should be on different RF channels. The channel number is written on the bottom of the receiver and sensor. You can read it by lift the package up without unpacking. So make sure all three packages are on different channels.

A:  It depends. The units have a finite number of fixed channels or frequencies. My transmitter/receiver pair are labeled 'CH13'. I ordered it online, but there was no selection in the order selection page for requesting specific channels. You might consider shopping in store, where you can inspect the channel frequency of each unit that you purchase.
