A:  Michi, This is greatly dependent on the maker of your bike and when it was made. Most bikes use Metirc fasteners, and the 13 piece Metric set should cover what you need for most bike modles https://www.homedepot.com/p/Husky-Metric-Long-Arm-Hex-Key-Set-13-Piece-HLAHKM13PC/202934894

A:  The short answer is not much... There's a great explanation on Home Depot's website. If you go to the Home Depot community site, community.homedepot.com and search for SAE and Metric Tools, it will tell you about the details of the two. I hope this helps!

A:  Di, SAE tool sizes are expressed as fractions of inches (1/4”, 9/16”, ¾”…) and will fit what’s commonly referred to as standard/imperial nuts and bolts. Metric tool sizes are expressed as units of meters (10mm, 12mm, 15mm…) and will fit nuts and bolts designed with the metric system in mind.

A:  SAE is American sized, anything you by made inside the USA, metric is for stuff made outside the USA.

A:  Valerie, this caddy is made of plastic, and printed with the sizes of each key. The caddy is black for SAE, or gray for metric. The keys are held in place with friction so the caddy will wear over time allowing the keys to slide in and out more freely, but this set will last you for years to come.
