        Answer This Question

A:  Yes, if you get a 3/8 socket adapter. Use caution, these are not impact sockets. Other than that, no problem.

A:  Yes they can. These sockets are not “impact” rated, but should hold up in most cases. You will need to get a 3/8” drill adapter (about $3. to 4.).

A:  Hi Gerald, these can be used with a drill, however they are not impact grade.

A:  If you have a hex shank to 3/8" square drive adapter, sure. They are 3/8" square drive. They will work on anything with 3/8" square drive.

A:  You will need to buy a 3/8” nut driver like this one and maybe a Quick change chuck. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwaukee-Shockwave-3-8-in-x-1-7-8-in-Magnetic-Nut-Driver-49-66-4505/203114970?cm_mmc=Shopping%7CG%7CBase%7CD29A%7CMulti%7CNA%7CPLA%7CMajor-Appliances%7CSpecial-Buys%7C71700000032418849%7C58700003842365800%7C92700030987191770&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIvO-t2IK73gIVhLrACh37pQF4EAQYASABEgLPgPD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

A:  Yes they can, but there is a risk of shattering a socket in the process so do be careful, I highly recommend using impact sockets the black ones they will hold up better

A:  They come on a plastic stick with knobs to fit into the ratchet end of the sockets. Works alright, but not too long-lasting, or I don't think it will be.

A:  No case or container, but it does have a plastic stick with knobs that fit into the ratchet end of the socket to keep them together. Handy, but I don't think it is made for the rough and tumble of a pro, but should be fine for the DIY'er.

A:  Not safely. Chrome sockets are thinner walled than impact sockets and are typically made from chrome vanadium which will shatter. This is especially true in 1/4. They will however work safely with a non-impact electric or air tool like a ratchet, screw gun, or drill (put your square drive hex adapter in the chuck). Why take a chance? Buy a cheap set of real impact sockets and go to town.

A:  Yes, but not for long. Impact sockets have thicker walls and are specifically designed to withstand the high torque and rapid hammering of impact drivers. I'd suggest purchasing the impact socket set. They'll last much longer.

A:  Hi Robb, it is not recommended to use these sockets on an impact driver. We would recommend using impact sockets with an impact driver.

A:  These are not designed for a true 'impact' use. Impact sockets are generally a thick wall.
