A: Seb1234, on the head of the ratcheting you will see a rectangular protion that says push. If you push this it it releases the socket. If you twist this it will change from clockwise ratcheting to counter clockwise ratcheting.

Q:I have a Husky 3/8 ratchet model 22202 model number made in the USA, can I get a replacement for this of the same model number or at least replace the ratchet gear parts since it no longer turns and slips. My concern is this ratchet is more of a tight fit being a USA made unit and rather not get a ratchet replacement that is not as good as this on has been for me, being a older good USA unit.

A: Ebay has the older USA made ones. FORGET buying any CHINESE made garbage. Divorce yourself from husky and buy American only. Follow the list of USA made tools. SK is my new favorite. Let Husky sink its own ship like Crapsman did with Craftsman USA made tools.

A: JZ, Yes you should be able to use a traditional square drive 3/8" socket from any manufacture with this Husky ratchet. There are slight differences in the way sockets are manufactured but the fit and function should not be affected.

A: ML, the head of this ratchet is not removable. The internals of the ratchet can be removed by spreading the split ring on the drive tang side of the head. Please note that this will void the warrant.

A: There is a circlip to remove on the drive side. If its broken just bring it to the store. No receipt needed
