A:  Hello Denise, thank you for your question. The Ellipse bath fan can be mounted on a vaulted bathroom ceiling.

A:  I would say Yes you can mount it on a vaulted ceiling if you have the standard depth in between rafters. You would have to confirm how the air will be vented out and if the max wattage of the bulbs is enough to light your space.

A:  I didn't keep this metal exhaust fan because the bathroom remodeling group recommended we purchase the original brand exhaust fan which is plastic.

To remove, press two hands on the outside of the glass and gently press in and up to unlock the shade. A:  You simply push the glass cover up (towards the ceiling) and over. The glass cover sits in place using gravity and resting on two parallel metal rods. When you push up the glass, you just then need to figure out what way to slide the cover over and it will easily remove. Once you have it off you can see how to pop it back on. It’s way easier than you’d imagine. Make sure to clean up all the dust and stuff which can become a fire hazard over time. Happy New Year- I’m doing this cleaning project now. :)
