Q:Is this the kind of wood that can be put on ceilings to cover up a popcorn finish?

A:  Hi GiGi, Yes it can. However I would not recommend it. It would look weird. Also, allot of special preparation to the ceiling would have to be done before any installation could begin. Moe Top Dallas Handyman Services
