Q:Do the wood grain lines go in the direction - up & down - of the 3 Ft or the 12 foot side?

        Answer This Question

A:  Hi Bob. It can go either way. However, you should plan to make as few cuts as possible to maximize your investment in this materiel. You see the square foot coverage listed on the package is only as good as your plan to use it all. The total SF will always be the same, so the only difference will be how much work do you want to do by cutting it on the short side ( 48"), and how much money (if any) you will waste if you cut it that way. Carefully calculate the cuts (48") vs (144") per cut and see. Moe Top Dallas Handyman Services

          Answer This Question

A:  HI Erin, It doesn't need too. Just cut and place some pine baseboard at the bottom ( straight cuts & you can overlap the corners and caulk), and then cut and place pine wainscoting cap trim on the top. (carefully cope saw one of the corner sides to the contour of the board and caulk) Home depot sells all of this. Moe, Top Dallas Handyman Services
