Q:how to connect

Answer This Question

A:  Hello Lillian, Thank you for choosing the Hotpoint 30 in. Self-Cleaning Freestanding Electric Range in Black Model # RB758DPBB. We do not package the power cord with our ranges. This practice was eliminated several years ago since it is not possible to determine the type of facilities each consumer has available or what the local electrical codes require. Some local electrical codes require a direct electrical connection (no power cord). Other local codes may permit the use of power cords. Please consult your local electrical code to be sure. Home Depot sells the power cords for ranges. They are available in 40-50 amp in lengths from 4 feet to 6 feet. It will also depend on your outlet if it is a 3 prong or 4 prong outlet. Following are the Power Ratings. Amp Rating at 208V: 40 Amp Rating at 240V: 40 KW Rating at 208V: 8.8 KW Rating at 240V: 11.7 I hope this helps! Donna with GE
