      A:  Yes you do. A thermostat senses the temperature in a zone and controls the heat being supplied to that zone. You would not want a thermostat to control the heat being supplied to a zone if the thermostat is not in that zone.

          A:  This t'stat is a hydronic heating only t'stat. Has four schedules but only one relay. You need control of your fan and pump,

We recommend that you contact Honeywell Technical Support at 1-800-468-1502 with your exisiting wiring and we will be happy to recommned a compatible thermostat for your application.
